Fantastic French

Bonjour tout le monde!

Bienvenue au premier trimestre deux milles vingt et un!

This Term, students in Foundation will be listening and practicing the French song  «Bonjour mes amis »  with  a focus on French greetings and numbers from 0-12.

Grade 1 and 2 will be looking at fruit and vegetables and listening to Alain Le Lait's song:

"J'aime les fruits" and practicing some vegetable words too!

"Les sports" and "Les passe-temps" will be an area of exploration for students in grade 3 and 4. Activities will be based on a book of songs "J'aime chanter" and other supporting material.

Grade 5 and 6 will be exploring the topic of emotions using the song  "Les émotions" by Alain Le Lait and other supporting material and the Languagenut app.

Students in grade 3-6 have started back using Showbie to access French assignments and all students will be encouraged to post evidence of their work on a regular basis.

We also envisage using classroom iPads and the program Seesaw with Grade 1 and 2 very soon.
