Mother and Son Day Invitation

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Mothers and/or significant female role-models (broadly defined herewith as ‘Mothers’) and their Marist sons are invited to participate in the 2021 Marist College Ashgrove, Mother-Son Day.
Details
Date: Sunday 22 August 2021
Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm (You can arrive late or leave early as required)
Venue: Enoggera Reservoir, 60 Mt Nebo Road, Mt Nebo
Cost: $55 per participant (e.g. one Mother and one son= $110)
The intention of the day is to allow for Mothers and their sons to spend quality time together in an adventurous environment. It will be a relaxed and meaningful experience that will hopefully allow sons to know that they are truly loved and valued by their Mothers. If you have more than one son at the College they are all welcome to attend.
The adventure component of the day is run by Brisbane Adventure specialists Riverlife and includes a guided bushwalk around the Enoggera Reservoir along with guided kayaking in the Reservoir.
The day will be fully catered; with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided by Brisbane’s premier gourmet mobile catering, Standing Room Only.
Numbers are strictly limited due to the availability of adventure equipment for hire. My apologies if you miss out this time but unfortunately special requests cannot be granted.
The College recognises the support of the Parents and Friends Association in making this event a success. Their support of the philosophy of the program and their financial contribution to ensure the program is more affordable for all families is appreciated.
Instructions for booking in Parent Lounge:
- Accept the Terms and Conditions for each son attending;
- Check and update Medical details for each son attending;
- Click Accept for each son attending;
- Select Option 1 Mother Attending on 1 son’s record to include payment for the Mother;
- Make payment by credit card by clicking Proceed to Payment
Please also complete the Parent Medical form here (including Riverlife Online Indemnity Form) by no later than Friday 15 August.
