Lawson Enright (2016)

A deep interest and passion for finance and economics has been the driving force for Lawson Enright’s career trajectory so far.

Graduating from Marist College Ashgrove in 2016, Lawson’s initial interest was sparked whilst boarding at the College where he discovered an extra-curricular activity of share market trading. As an Economics student at The University of Queensland (UQ) Lawson's interest expanded and leaped into the field of digital assets, cryptography and monetary history. After founding the UQ Trading and Investment Society, he expanded student interest in the association and implemented the transition to University Network for Investment and Trading (UNIT UQ).

As a true Marist Man, Lawson also devoted time to care for underprivileged people in India and was exposed to the polarity of financial systems worldwide.

As an articulate and adept economist, Lawson has been called upon to provide narratives on the progress of Bitcoin on radio internationally. Lawson’s newest and most exciting project is with a newly founded asset management firm based in Brisbane on Queen Street. Monochrome Asset Management specialises in institutional and wholesale digital asset exposure.

Lawson is one of many Marist Men who is paving the way for future generations of Marist College Ashgrove graduates.
