SWIMMING CARNIVAL
MS GRACE SCOTT - STUDENT EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR
The St Mary MacKillop College Interhouse Swimming Carnival was held at the Swan Hill Outdoor Pool on Wednesday the 15th of February 2023. It was wonderful to see so many students swimming and cheering for their houses. In the end it was Tenison who took home the trophy, bringing Solomon’s decade long reign to an end in the process. Woods came away with the House Spirit award courtesy of their very passionate House Captains and Year 12 students.
A big thank you to all staff and parents who assisted before and during the day, and also to the students for adapting to the date change and behaving so well.
A presentation was also made to Kellie Hodgson by Mr Joyce to honour her attendance at thirteen years of swimming carnivals now that her youngest, Brehana, is in Year 12.
65 students have qualified for the Swan Hill Region Swimming Carnival which will be held on Tuesday the 21st of February at the Swan Hill Outdoor Pool. We wish them all the best.
