School Based Apprenticeships in Agriculture

Are you interested in Agriculture? Maybe you already work part time in the field. Are you interested in completing an SBAT in Agriculture every Wednesday and having your VCE/VCAL classes on the other 4 days each week?

AG SCHOOLS 2021 is now taking enrolments! Interested students should complete the paperwork attached and return to Leon prior to enrolment. From there, this information will be referred to an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network Provider who will sign students up with their employer in the coming weeks.

You would complete this SBAT over one year or two, alternating between working with your (an) employer and attending AG SCHOOLS for training. You don't necessarily need to have an employer already either. AG SCHOOLS are offering to help with this. Read the attached information flier below and contact Leon (from Ag Schools) directly for more details.

AG SCHOOLS location in Shepparton is at the Old DECA site on Wanganui Road, which is undergoing a major transformation as we speak to become a central training hub for Ag in the GV region. For more details about SBAT’s contact Mary-ann Linehan at GSSC.

For further details see the attached fliers.
