VCE General English Workshop

Our Year 11 VCE General English class had a 2 hour workshop with Eagles Nest Theatre viewing and unpacking the play ’12 Angry Men’ by Reginald Rose. The students have recently begun studying this text as part of their Unit 2 studies.

Students were engaged and offered wonderful ideas and suggestions as they viewed the performance, engaging in dialogue with the actors.  Some students stated that viewing the performance gave them ideas about what they could write in their analytical essays, others felt like they had a greater understanding of the characters and the themes in the text.
