Commemorating ANZAC Day

Our VM students carefully baked hundreds of ANZAC biscuits in the St Joseph’s kitchen, thoughtfully testing several recipes before mutually deciding on the best one. It was quite a task - baking each batch to perfection and packaging them into individually designed boxes to honour the ANZACs. Their effort, teamwork, and attention to detail truly shone through.

Walking in to the RSLs and nursing homes,  we were greeted warmly by the staff. I explained that we were from Nazareth College and that we had brought gifts baked and boxed by our VM students. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the whole experience was really positive. We were even able to stay for the ceremony, which made the visit even more special. Overall, it was a great time with welcoming and supportive people.
