 "Last First Day"

On Friday, 30 January, the Year 12 2026 class experienced their "Last First Day".   As part of the program for the day, the students participated in workshops about goal setting, the use of study planners and time management.  Academy Alumnae from 2025 and 2024 spoke to the students about their experiences of VCE, giving invaluable study and revision advice and tips.  

The Class of 2026 have made a wonderful start to their last year of secondary school. We wish them a successful and memorable final year at the Academy.

Safe Partying

Year 12 is an exciting year full of social events and to support our students, Sonya Karras was our guest speaker leading an open discussion about ‘Safe Partying’. 

Students were provided with knowledge about the laws, the possible impact that alcohol can have on the body and strategies to implement when out in social situations. 

Sonya is a regular guest speaker at the Academy, and we value her knowledge and expertise in this area.  Sonya will be returning to our school to talk to both Year 8 and 9 students about vaping and alcohol later in the Term.
