Year 11 Report

As Term 2 rounds to a close, Year 11 students should feel very proud of their achievements in the first half year of their time in the senior school.
All students have completed their Unit 1 studies, including our VCE students undertaking their first round of senior school examinations. We have celebrated academic achievement in our assemblies this week, with special mention of the following students:
- VCE VM Highest Academic Achievement – Tilly Hichisson
- VCE Highest Academic Achievement – Amber Gibb
Special mention also goes to Kasy Deren, Jewel Kelly, Nyah Dicks and Jack Gillespie for strong academic achievement in their Unit 1 exams.
Students have been encouraged to take the time over the holidays to review their school uniforms and equipment for class, ensuring that they return in Term 3 ready to continue with their Unit 2 studies. We will also be undertaking a punctuality audit in Term 3, encouraging all Year 11 students to ensure that they are getting to class on time.
Early in Term 3, Year 11 students will be asked to make their subject selections for Year 12 or advise us of their plans for 2026 if they do not intend to return to school. Communication will go out to families prior to this happening, but I encourage students and families to begin conversations about this and contact us with any questions that you may have.
I wish all Year 11 students and their families a restful break and thank the families of Year 11 students for their continued support. We are looking forward to an eventful and exciting second half of 2025 as the students begin to make their transition towards Year 12!
