Big Freeze Fight MND Fundraiser 2025

The School Captains and SRC hosted a successful fundraiser for Big Freeze on the 24th of June. The activities included face painting, icy poles, cupcake stalls, dedicate a song by the music team, beanie raffle, and the ice bucket challenge which many staff signed up for. 

The MND promotion team comprised of the following students from years 7 and 8 – Syieve Smith, Tommy Lupiyanto, Crue Powell, Abi Chaffey, Addie Sagocsoc, Kayla Brunton, Lilly Adams, Bryce Rushton, Jaiden Symonds, Dante Hewitt-Burt, and Nevaeh Downes. They did an excellent job in raising awareness about MND through classroom presentations. 

Year 12 students, Matilda Konndouras, Shaylee Wilson, Zoe Palmer, Gypsy Wells and Karlee Richards were extremely professional in baking the cupcakes, as noted by Heather in the school kitchen.  

The lucky winners of Big Freeze beanie raffle are- Harry Jenkins, Noah G, and Mia Lakatos.
