YEAR 8 HEADSTART - BUILDING WITH SUNSHINE

Our Year 8 students have been diving into their Household Energy Efficiency Project and one of the highlights is designing and building their very own Passive Solar Model House!

Their models had to include:

• Passive solar design features

• A layout showing smart solar orientation

• Energy-efficient materials throughout 

They have also been exploring how climate and building materials play a huge role in keeping homes comfortable and energy-smart.
