Learning and Curriculum Primary - Stage 3

Tournament of the Minds 

On Sunday 30 August, a group of Stage 3 students attended the University of New South Wales to participate in the Tournament of the Minds competition. Stage 3 entered two teams across the STEM and Social Science fields. Our students prepared in the weeks leading up to the event under the guidance of Ms Osorio Narvaez and Ms Mazoudier. The day required the students to work as a team as they delivered their 'scenes' to the judges. This day was a fantastic opportunity for our students to work collaboratively and creatively! Thank you to the teachers and parents who supported the students.

Author Visit – Mark Greenwood 

Stage 3 enjoyed a fabulous presentation from Australian author, Mark Greenwood. Mark took us on an incredible adventure through some of his books. His engaging presentation certainly sparked great interest in some quality books. Students are encouraged to keep an eye out for Mark Greenwood's texts throughout the library.
