Prayer for Pope Francis

God, in your wisdom you chose Pope Francis to be your servant and lead your Church on earth.

We give thanks for his faithful service to your Son, Jesus Christ, in his time on earth as priest, bishop, and pope.

Having served your Church in his life, we pray that he may now share fully in the Easter mystery, the resurrection of Christ and his entrance into heaven.

Amen

Holy Week Liturgy and Stations of the Light

To conclude Term 1, we gathered as a school to commemorate the week leading to Easter, Holy Week. This week follows Jesus' movements through Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and concludes with the resurrection on Easter Sunday.

As we returned, our senior students led classes on a journey through the 'Stations of the Light'. In the spirit of the Jubilee year and the theme 'Pilgrims of Hope', students journeyed on a pilgrimage around the school and visited the 14 stations depicting the most inspiring events of Jesus' post-resurrection life on earth, a wonderful reflection to begin the Easter season.

Reconciliation

Last term, we had 24 students make their First Reconciliation. They are now beginning the preparation for their First Communion later in Term 2. Congratulations to our candidates!

ANZAC Day Liturgy and Service

As a whole school community, we gathered to remember to ANZACs and all who have fought for our country through a liturgy of peace and a remembrance service. Thank you to our school leaders for reverently leading this.

Caritas Project Compassion

Thank you for your generous donations to our 'Free Dress Day' project compassion fundraiser on the last day of Term 1. We raised over $500!
