What a fantastic evening we had celebrating our Festival of the Arts on Wednesday night! It was wonderful to see so many families and members of our school community come together to celebrate the incredible creativity and talents of our students.

Throughout the evening, we were treated to some amazing performances from our Year 3/4 drummers, Senior Ukulele Players, and Senior Choir, along with our talented buskers who entertained visitors throughout the night. Olivia C, 5/6JS, also showcased a beautiful cultural dance on the night. A huge congratulations to all students involved in these fantastic performances!

Our art displays showcased the creativity, imagination and hard work of our students across the year. They should all be incredibly proud of what they have achieved, and I am sure will be excited to be finally taking some artwork home!

Our Art Auction is still open! There is still time to place your bids on the wonderful artworks available, with the auction closing tomorrow, Friday 16 October, at 4:30 pm. Don't miss your chance to take home a special piece of student artwork!

A special shout-out to our Year 6 Art Leaders for their help with the set-up and the outstanding job they did bringing our school cow to life as part of the Picasso Cow Program. A big thank you to all the teachers and staff who helped make the evening possible, particularly those who were busy cooking on the barbecue and keeping everyone supplied with fairy floss and popcorn!
