Festival of the Arts
What a sensational night Wednesday was!
We celebrated the incredible talent of our kindergarten and school students at a wonderful evening showcasing the arts at MPRPS. It was fantastic to see our students shine as they shared their creativity, passion and talents with our community.
A huge congratulations to all the students who participated in performances and who made artwork and thank you to the staff and families who supported the event by coming along and buying a sausage, a raffle ticket or bidding on the amazing work from our class art peices.
We are so proud of our talented students and loved having the opportunity to celebrate their amazing work and achievements!
Collaborative Artwork Auction Each class has also worked together to create a unique collaborative artwork, available for purchase through an online auction. You can view the artworks and place bids using the link: https://www.32auctions.com/MPRPSFOTA

Kinder Bunnings Fundraiser
A huge thank you to all our wonderful kinder families who supported our sausage sizzle fundraiser by generously volunteering their time to cook, serve and help make the day such a success! We are so grateful for your time, effort and willingness to get involved.
This fundraiser was dedicated to raising funds to purchase new equipment for our kinder’s outdoor space, helping us create an even more engaging, exciting and enriching environment for the children to learn, play and explore.
A big thank you also goes to everyone who came along and bought a sausage to support our kinder. We are thrilled to share that, thanks to the support of our amazing kinder community, we raised an incredible $2,400!
Parent/Caregiver Survey Thank You!
A sincere thank you to all the parents and caregivers who took the time to complete our recent Parent/Caregiver Opinion Survey. Your feedback is an important part of our ongoing school improvement work. It helps us understand what we're doing well, recognise the areas our community values most and identify opportunities to continue strengthening our school.
As a school, we are committed to listening to our families and using feedback, alongside student learning and wellbeing data, to inform our planning and decision-making.
We appreciate the time and thought that families have invested in sharing their perspectives.
Walk to School Week: Monday 26th – Friday 30th
We’re excited to take part in Walk to School Week, running from Monday 26th to Friday 30th!
The week is a great opportunity to encourage students and families to walk to school, enjoy some fresh air, get active and develop healthy travel habits. Walking to school is also a wonderful way to connect with friends, spend time outdoors and help reduce traffic around our school.
To celebrate, we’ll be holding our
Walk to School Week Breakfast on Wednesday 28th, alongside our usual Breakfast Club. BYO plate, bowl and spoon.
It will be a great chance for students to enjoy breakfast together and celebrate making active travel part of their school routine. AND.......there will be a coffee van on site for parents to enjoy a hot drink and catch up before school starts.
We encourage all students and families to get involved wherever possible. Whether you walk the whole way or park a little further away and walk the rest, every step counts!
Somers Camp
In 2027, students in Grades 5 and 6 will have the opportunityto attend Somers Camp a 9 day residential camp.
Somers Camp provides students with a unique and memorable outdoor education experience, encouraging them to develop independence, resilience, confidence and responsibility. Through a range of engaging activities and shared experiences, students have the opportunity to build new friendships, strengthen their teamwork and communication skills, and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.
Students who are interested in attending Somers Camp in 2027 are encouraged to express their interest via the form which can be collected from the office or from the Compass link sent to families..
Enjoy the weekend.
