Drumroll... what a result!

Together, we raised an incredible $57,996!

What a wonderful day it was at the 2026 Holy Spirit Community Fete! With beautiful weather, fantastic community spirit and plenty of fun for all ages, this year’s fete was a wonderful celebration of everything that makes our Holy Spirit community so special.

We are thrilled to announce that, after accounting for fete expenses, our final fundraising total is $57,996. While an earlier estimate indicated we were working towards $70,000, this final figure reflects the funds raised after expenses have been deducted. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing 2026 Fete Committee, whose dedication, hard work and countless hours of planning helped bring the day together. From organising stalls and rides to coordinating volunteers, sponsors and donations, so much happens behind the scenes to make the fete a success.

Thank you also to our generous sponsors and donors, our wonderful volunteers, Holy Spirit families, parishioners and the wider community who came along, supported the stalls, enjoyed the rides and helped create such a memorable day.

Every contribution, big or small, made a difference. The fete is a true team effort, and this result reflects the generosity and commitment of so many people.

Looking ahead to 2027, we need your help! 

After 7 years I will be stepping down from my Fete Committee roles next year due to health reasons and we need new people to step into these positions, along with several other roles that need filling. Please see the list below and consider getting involved to help keep this wonderful community tradition going.

Make the Magic Happen!

The Holy Spirit Fete relies on our wonderful school and parish community and we need new committee members to help keep this much-loved tradition going in 2027 - our 45th year!

We have several key roles to fill:

• Sponsorship – Building relationships with sponsors and donors.
• Raffle Coordinator – Organising raffle prizes, tickets and the draw.
• Socials & Marketing – Promoting the fete through social media and advertising.
• Communications – Managing newsletters, emails and general communications.
• Stage Coordinator (shared role) – Coordinating performers and stage entertainment.
• Sound & Audio – Assisting sound and audio requirements.
• Helpers Coordinator – Recruiting helpers, liasing stall holders & coordinating rosters.
• Community Engagement – Connecting with local sporting clubs and community groups to organise activities and activations.
• Health & Safety Leader – Coordinating safety requirements and risk assessments.
• Silent Auction Coordinator – Sourcing donations and managing auction items.

No previous fete experience is needed, just a willingness to get involved!
