Deputy Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Guardians and Father Arsenio,
As we move through Term 4, there is plenty happening across Holy Spirit as we prepare for the end of the year and look ahead to 2027.
Our Prep transition program is well underway, and it is wonderful to see our newest students becoming familiar with our school, meeting staff and beginning to build connections ahead of their first year at Holy Spirit. These opportunities help our future Preps feel comfortable and confident as they prepare for this exciting new chapter. We look forward to welcoming our new families into the Holy Spirit community. A big thank you to our Prep team for all of their preparations to ensure that the newest members feel welcomed.
A reminder to families that before-school play needs to be safe. As the area can become quite congested in the mornings, ball games are not permitted before school and students are expected to walk rather than run. Please remind your children to be mindful of others, follow the directions of staff on duty and put our STAR values into action. We appreciate your support in helping everyone enjoy a safe and positive start to the school day.
We warmly welcome Stu Andreou-Mill to Holy Spirit as our new Business and Operations Manager. Stu will be working across both Holy Spirit and Sacred Heart, supporting the business and operational needs of our schools and working alongside our teams to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. We look forward to having Stu as part of our school community and wish him all the best in his new role. You will see him on crossing duty in the mornings and afternoons so please make sure you say hello.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support and partnership. It is wonderful to see our community working together as we finish the year and prepare for another exciting year ahead.
Enjoy the long weekend!
Have a great fortnight,
Kayla
