Physical Education Classes

Over the course of the term, we have noticed an increase in the number of students unable to participate fully in Physical Education due to injury or discomfort.

Students are always encouraged to participate to the best of their ability, and we understand that this can vary from week to week depending on individual circumstances. Physical Education is an important part of the curriculum, providing students with opportunities to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and overall wellbeing.

To help us support your child appropriately, we kindly ask that if your child is injured or there is any reason they may be unable to participate, you please email Mr Thomas to inform him prior to the lesson where possible. This allows us to plan suitable alternative activities or modified participation options.

As students participate in one hour of Physical Education each week, maintaining consistent communication helps ensure they still gain as much benefit as possible from the program.

Thank you for your support in helping us keep students active, safe, and engaged.

Division Cross Country

St Luke’s was fortunate enough to have 13 students represent our school at Division Cross Country at Princess Park on Wednesday. All students ran there hardest and were able to push through some barriers on the day. 4 students, Harrison Rowe, Thea Kelly, Alice Mintern and Will Higgins finished amongst the Top 12 of their age group and will progress to Region Cross Country on Friday 12th of June in Benalla. We also had a couple of students who narrowly missed finishing just outside the top 12. We wish all students the best for Region Cross Country. Also congratulate all the runner from Division Cross Country who did their best and represented the school so positively, they should be so very proud, as everyone here at St Luke’s are.
