IGLU Regional Scholarship

Established in 2020, the Iglu Regional Scholarship is designed to help students transition from regional Australia and New Zealand to university life in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. We want all students to enjoy a premium student living experience and through the scholarship, they have access to significant rental assistance during their first 12 months living with us. Since 2020, we have welcomed more than 1,200 scholarship recipients to live with us and we will continue to support this program in 2027. We would love to work with you to ensure that your students and their parents are aware of this opportunity.

Students can now register their interest for the 2027 scholarship and be the first to know when applications open in September.

We will be out and about over the next few months at major careers fairs and expos including:

30 April - 2 May: VCE and Careers Expo
14 May: Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Careers Expo
21 May: Tomorrow Bound Careers Expo
28–30 May: HSC and Careers Expo
4 June: Cairns Careers Expo

ADF

Learn more about Australian Defence Force (ADF) roles available in the Navy, Army and Air Force by attending the upcoming information session:

Date: Tuesday 12 May 2026
Time: 6:00pm to 8:00pm (approx.)
Venue: Rich River Golf Club, 24 Lane, Moama NSW 2731

This information session will be hosted by current serving military personnel who understand the Defence application process and can answer your questions. If you would like to attend and learn more about the ADF and the 300+ roles on offer, please register your interest via: ADF Careers - Moama Defence Careers Information Session

The ADF team will also be at Echuca Library to host a “Connect and Chat Drop-In Session” (an informal catch-up) from 4pm to 5:30pm on Monday 11 May 2026 (no registrations necessary).
