Faith & Community

Our commemorative ANZAC Day service, held on the lawn at our Brigidine Campus, was both solemn and deeply respectful - honouring the men and women who have served, who continue to serve, and who may serve in the future.
Through stories of student experiences, including visits to the Shrine of Remembrance and the trek along the Kokoda Track, we were reminded of the courage, sacrifice and legacy of those who have shaped our nation’s history. We also acknowledged the loss of past students, holding them in our thoughts and prayers.

At the heart of the service was a call to peace. We were challenged by one of our ex-servicemen to welcome the stranger, to listen to their story, and to remain open to their humanity. It was a powerful reminder that peace begins within each of us - when we choose compassion, understanding and connection.
A meaningful and reflective occasion, it was a fitting tribute and a significant moment of acknowledgement for our College community.
