Dear Families, 

LAST ASSEMBLY FOR 2023

Our last assembly for 2023 will be next WEDNESDAY, 22 November at 2.30pm. We have needed to move assembly to Wednesday because of our swimming carnival being on the Thursday. This will be the last day for silver, gold and diamond awards for this year. Other awards will carry over until 2024. You may still receive notifications about awards but they will not be given out until next year.

RE-INTRODUCTION OF BYODD

Following a period of discernment, we have decided to re-introduce the BYODD (Bring your own designated device) program. It was paused after careful consideration due to the over use and reliance on devices during the Covid period. Next week students in Year 2-5 will receive more information about this program including device specifications. Please see letter from Mrs Burfield regarding this.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP 2024

We have received many applications from our Year 5 students for leadership positions in 2024. These applications now go through a thorough shortlisting process before the final 8 candidates present a speech to the school community and positions are voted for. Leaders will be announced at our Thanksgiving Mass in Week 10.
