Kindy Destiny  

This term KD have been learning to write compound sentences with the use of adjectives. Throughout two weeks of this term, we had the opportunity to watch chicks and ducks hatch from their eggs. As the students observed the process, they were able to then draw pictures and create sentences that linked to what they saw. This real-world experience was amazing, and it allowed them to visually see the process of the chicks and ducks, how they hatched out of their egg, what they ate, how they interacted together and more.

In Maths, students have been learning about shapes and their properties, collecting data to create graphs and learning about teen numbers and how to represent them. 

Learning Centres have been an ongoing learning process this term as students have been creating habitats for various farm animals, planting seeds using cotton balls and water, creating shape animals using a variety of art material and making a farmer’s market. Students have developed and extended their social skills, working together and taking turns. It wonderful to see how much they have improved so far!
