School Council

Dear Fellow Parents, 

An enormous thank you to the band of parents who made Father's Day so special for dads in our community by organising and hosting the Father's Day stall.  Many hundreds of presents were purchased and I am sure many, many dads were very happy last Sunday as a result. 

It is great to see volunteers from our community helping out to make events so successful at Mackellar.  If would be even better if these roles were evenly distributed amongst a greater number of parents to lighten the load for some, and to include others. Don't be shy. They are a great bunch who do so much with the limited time and resources they have. They would always love more hands to lighten the load, to have a coffee with, as well as a laugh. To those who helped out already, and to those who will lend a hand next time - thank you. 

Thank you also to those parents who have completed the Parent Opinion Survey.  Due to a technical error early-on, some parents were completing the survey, yet it wasn't registering. That glitch has been rectified, and to date 30 parent surveys have been registered. If you completed the survey early on, it may not have registered.  If that was you, feel free to log-in and try again. To any others who haven't yet completed the survey, it is still open and we would appreciate your input.
