School Sport Victoria

SSV Division Track & Field

Heatherwood School had 24 students qualified for the School Sport Victoria Eastern Region Track & Field event based upon results from PE classes and the Interschool Athletics Day held earlier in the year. There are five Multiclass events on offer: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump and Shot Put. The students put on their best and produced some fantastic results, with many receiving 1st, 2nd or 3rd ribbons. School Sport Victoria is in the process of confirming qualifications from this event through to the regions.

School Sport Victoria State Cross Country Championships 

Early in Term 3, Heatherwood School had 13 students who qualified to compete in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) State Cross Country Championships Multiclass events. The competition day produced some great results from our Heatherwood team. The cross country 3km course was a tough long run. Well done to the students who gave their best; congratulations to these students for making the State Cross Country finals. It was great to see many parents who were able to make it on the day to show their support.
