Host an International Student

In term 1 2024, the Department for Education will welcome around 400 international students to South Australian government schools. 

International students bring a range of benefits to our schools and communities, sharing their perspectives, cultures and cuisines.

Are you interested in hosting an international school student and welcoming the world home?  All family types are eligible – singles, couples, families with children, empty nesters or retirees. And there’s heaps of support available to help you provide a welcoming home, including a weekly allowance.
