OSHC

St Brigid’s School is committed to supporting families through the provision of quality Out of School Care and Pupil Free Days.

It is important for each family to have their child/children enrolled prior to using the OSHC service and complete your Centrelink Child Care Subsidy Assessment for your children to see if you can receive fee assistance otherwise you will be required to pay full fees for OSHC. 

Enrolment Packs are available from the front office and OSHC service.  Fee income and timely payment of fees are essential for the service to provide the best care and facilities for your child/children.  Our fees are set to cover the costs of providing OSHC to a high standard.  The program offers snacks, activities, games, sports, and supported study time for the students. 

The St Brigid’s OSHC hours of operation and fees are as follows: 

Before School Care                6.30am – 8.30am     $13

Before School Care Casual                                        $14

After School Care                   3.00pm – 6.15pm     $20

After School Care Casual                                           $21

Pupil Free Days                       6.30am – 6.15pm     $50 + Excursion fee if applicable

It is essential to book your child into the program in advance; this enables the service to make arrangements of the appropriate number of staff and to comply with government regulations on ratios.  Casual bookings for Before and After School Care attract a higher fee due to the nature of the bookings, planning will need to be done regarding staffing, due to these ratios, children who arrive on the day without a booking are not guaranteed a place.

Bookings - Parent’s Childcare App

St Brigid’s OSHC has transitioned to using an online Parent’s Childcare App for all our bookings in OSHC.  To be eligible to access the site families must have an email address that is recorded on their Spike account.  Families use their email address and PIN Code to sign in.  Families will be able to see their children’s current and upcoming bookings – invoices and current balance owing.

Parent’s Childcare App can be saved to your homepage as an app on your mobile phone.

Families are reminded that students who arrive before teachers are on duty at 8.30am will be sent to OSHC which will incur a $14 fee to parents/caregivers.  Any students who are not picked up by 3.20pm will be sent to OSHC which will incur a $21 fee to parents/caregivers. 

Carpark

A reminder to all parents who pick up and drop off students at OSHC – you are not allowed to park in front of Father Selva’s roller door area as this is a safety issue if there is an emergency. Drivers are reminded this is not an area you can park or leave cars unattended.  Parking areas are clearly marked, and parking is only to occur in designated, marked car parking bays.  All vehicles must observe the speed limit in the Church/School carpark.

Pupil Free Day

Friday 8th March - Pupil Free Day - OSHC is available on this day. If you require this service please contact OSHC via email or telephone to arrange for this service or bookings can be made through Childcare App.
