Community Hub

Hello everyone and welcome back to the new school year!

If we haven't met before - my name is Bonnie and I am the community hub leader. 

I play the trumpet, I love the colour orange, and I have a cat named Sparky. 

Our community hub is located at the back of the school in the OSHC building. 

But you can also enter it from Le Hunte street, through the carpark, past the dumpster.

On this page you will find updates about the programs running in the community hub, as well as some things that are happening in the broader community that might be of interest to you!

All programs are free.

Playgroup

We had a very busy week this week at playgroup! It was great to see everyone again after such a long break! All the children are a little older and a little taller.

Our playgroup runs 9-11am on Mondays and Wednesdays through the school term and is for any children 0-5 years old with their parents.

Connecting Through Play Workshop

SPEAKING OF PLAY....

Ever wondered why play is so important to children?

Come along to this workshop to learn the importance of play and how it can help in your child's development and in improving relationships. 

Women's Fitness

This is our final term of the women's fitness program which has been supported by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. Join us this term to help finish off the program strong!

Sessions are Mondays 11:45-12:30pm over at the Kilburn Community Centre. 

Tea and Coffee in the Courtyard

On Fridays I will be starting Tea and Coffee in the Courtyard from 2:45pm. Come have a chat and a cuppa (hot drink) while you wait for your children to finish school for the day!

English Classes

We have two English classes that operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Our Tuesday class is for anyone who is practicing for their Citizenship class and would like some extra help. 

The Thursday is for anyone wanting to practice their general English. All levels welcome!

Need a little help?

If you need help filling in forms, writing resumes, applying for jobs, or getting information about something please book an appointment with me on Wednesday or Friday from 12-2pm and I am happy to help you!
