JUNIOR SCHOOL | Update

Dear Parents/Carers, Students And Friends
Term 2 Expectations and Reminders
As we begin Term 2, we would like to thank our students, families, and staff for their ongoing support in creating a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment across our school. This term, we will continue to reinforce our high expectations while also recognising and celebrating the many students who consistently demonstrate our school values each day. Please refer to School Expectations and Reminders.
Student Leadership
I would like to acknowledge and thank our Year 8 Student Leaders for the outstanding leadership they have demonstrated so far this year. Their commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to contribute positively to the school community has been greatly appreciated and has helped foster a strong and positive culture across the Junior School.
Year 8 Captains: Tibbs Tabor and Ottilia Mortimer
Year 8 Vice Captains: Kai Bonney and Lachlan Swift
Our student leaders play an important role in representing the voices of their peers and working collaboratively with staff to strengthen the school community. Their responsibilities include:
- representing their year level cohort
- supporting communication between students and Year Level Coordinators
- planning and facilitating cohort initiatives and events
- developing and leading projects and initiatives
- collaborating with other student leaders across the school
- participating in regular leadership meetings
We thank our student leaders for the positive example they set for others each day and look forward to seeing their continued growth and contributions throughout the year.
We are also excited to invite Year 7 students to apply for Year Level Leadership positions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and become more actively involved in the school community. Applications are due by Wednesday 6 May, and we encourage all interested students to consider applying and taking an active role in shaping a positive Junior School culture.
