Year 10 Marine Science Balnarring Beach Excursion
Our Year 10 Marine Science class attended an excursion to the Balnarring Beach rockpools. Lead by an educator from the Dolphin Research Institute we conducted a 'Rockpool Ramble' carefully examining a host of marine organisms found in the intertidal zone. We spotted a variety of Sea stars, Crabs, Sea Urchins, Sponges, Sea squirts, Sea snails and some of our students even spotted a Shore Eel.
We were very lucky with the weather and the wide variety of species we encountered!

Year 12 Retreat 2026
From Monday 20 April to Wednesday 22 April, our Year 12 students attended the annual Year 12 Retreat at Phillip Island Adventure Resort.
The retreat is an important part of the Year 12 journey, providing students with the opportunity to strengthen connections with their peers and teachers, build a sense of belonging, and return refreshed and motivated for the remainder of the year. Across the three days, students participated in a range of activities designed to challenge them, encourage teamwork, and create lasting memories. The Year 12 cohort embraced every opportunity on offer, stepped outside their comfort zones, and represented the school with positivity and enthusiasm.
A camp of this scale, with more than 260 students attending, would not be possible without the dedication and generosity of our incredible staff. We sincerely thank all staff who gave their time and energy to support the retreat and help make it such a success.
We are proud of our Year 12 students and look forward to seeing them carry the connections, confidence, and momentum gained from retreat into the rest of their final year.
