Week 6 Update

It is an extremely busy time at LNPS as we come to the end of another highly successful year. There is so much happening across the school at times it is hard to keep track!  If at any point you need support, please reach out to the school. It is going to be a great finish to the year as we have a lot of exciting learning and activities ahead. 

You may have seen in the media this week a recall on a wide range of sand-based products. We are really happy to advise that LNPS hasn't been impacted and no action has needed to be taken. 

65th Anniversary

Thank you to everyone who was involved or attended our 65th Anniversary Community Night. It was a huge success and was enjoyed by everyone!

It was amazing to see the learning across classrooms, the memorabilia in the Gym, the stage performances and have the opportunity to meet old scholars and staff. 

Thanks to our host Gracie, Leo and George and to all the businesses that donated prizes for the silent auctions and raffles. Tickets for the raffle are still available at the Front Office, and there will be a live draw on the LNPS Facebook this Friday at 10am. 

As we look ahead to next year, we're excited to announce that we will be having a dance extravaganza similar to 2024. Further details to come next year. 

LNPS Podcast

We are excited to announce the launch of the Lockleys North Primary School Podcast. This new channel will give our school community an easy and engaging way to stay connected with what’s happening at Lockleys North Primary School.

The LNPS Podcast will feature updates from leadership, students, highlights from school events, and stories celebrating learning across the school. Our aim is to bring our community closer together by sharing the voices, ideas, and achievements that make LNPS such a vibrant place to learn.

Simply search “Lockleys North Primary School Podcast” on your favourite podcast platform  and subscribe to stay up to date with our latest episodes.

2025 Term 1 Reception Transition Visits

Next week, we welcome our new 2026 Term 1 Receptions and their families for their orientation visits. 

LNPS has an extensive transition program based on research and current practice. This includes weekly Little Flyers sessions, extensive parent meetings and 3 visits for students to enable further familiarisation with all aspects of the school. This ensures every child and their family is ready for their first day of school. 

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our new families into the LNPS community in 2026.

Finally, the final newsletter for 2025 will be published in Week 9 on Wednesday 10th December.
