Beyond the Bell 

Our Year 5-12 Athletics Carnival marked the end of a special chapter for one of our families. It was the final time Renee and Wayne Brooker would be rolling up their sleeves to help with the set-up and pack-up at our sporting carnivals, with their youngest child Abigail graduating Year 12 this year.

Since their eldest, Rory, first joined Cobram AGS, they have been steadfast supporters and familiar faces at these events. Spotting Renee and Wayne in their trademark red Cowell attire has become part of the sporting carnival tradition, and we’ve been fortunate to have their helping hands in all conditions – rain, hail or shine.

We’re so grateful for the generosity, time and spirit they’ve shared with our school community. Thank you, Renee and Wayne, for everything.
