Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
Beginning on a very important note, we have confirmed a date for our 25-year anniversary event which will be held at Cobram AGS on Saturday 29 November. This event promises to be a fantastic celebration of our school and the countless people who have contributed to its success over the past 25 years.
Getting back to the present, this past fortnight at Cobram AGS has been alive with energy, achievement and a strong sense of community. Tuesday was very busy with school photos taking place. I extend my thanks to our families, staff, and MSP Photography for ensuring this process ran smoothly.
On Thursday, we enjoyed a fantastic Athletics Carnival for Years 5-12, following the earlier decision to postpone the Foundation-Year 4 Carnival due to unfavourable weather. For those with children in these year levels, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we’re now looking forward to seeing the F-4 Carnival take place on Wednesday 20 August.
From what I saw at our Year 5-12 Carnival on Thursday, the competition was strong, the sportsmanship was outstanding, and it was wonderful to see so many students and families enjoying the fun and friendly atmosphere.
Another highlight of Week 4 was our Senior School Chapel Service, where the Year 7 group, led beautifully by Oscar, Matilda and Kegan, presented inspiring readings around the theme of courage. Their words were thoughtful, heartfelt, and a great reminder of the strength we find when we face challenges with bravery.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a vibrant and uplifting past fortnight.
With regards,
Keith Willett
Principal
