During Camps and Pathways week, students completed several Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses, including:

• CPR & First Aid
• Restaurant Waiting Service
• Coffee Barista
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

COFFEE BARISTA

Doing the coffee barista VET course was such a fun experience!!! Learning how to make coffee professionally – like getting the milk texture just right and using the right amount of espresso – was cool, but what made the experience incredibly enjoyable was our teacher, Sam. 

He made the 3 hours we had together, extremely fun. He was always cracking jokes, sharing stories, or spreading his positive energy, and never failed to find a way to make everyone happy. 

You could tell he was really passionate about what he did, and that kind of rubbed off on the entire class. Overall, I enjoyed it very much and it was a great mixture of learning and having a good time!
