Camps and Pathways Week
Year 9 Camp was an unforgettable experience, challenging us all to step beyond our comfort zones—both physically and socially.
Encouragement and support filled the air as we pushed past our fears on the pamper pole and abseiling, creating and strengthening our bonds as a community.
Working in teams in the low ropes course and raft building bringing out our competitive and creative sides, while we held tight to each other as we carefully mounted higher and higher on the crate stack.
Every activity pushed us to communicate, collaborate, and learn new skills that will stay with us for years to come.
From tackling obstacles with old and new friends to embracing every activity, Year 9 Camp was truly a remarkable and rewarding adventure.

Camp was overall a very enjoyable experience. Not only did it give me an opportunity to further bond and connect with my fellow year 9's, but it also allowed me to challenge myself physically with fun and competitive activities. My favourite activity was undoubtedly the rock climbing.
However, the nature walk was a close second.
The feeling of 'being on top of the world' was unparalleled. At the high point I reached during rock climbing my knees were trembling as the breeze ran across my entire body. Despite this the challenging nature of the climb resulted in a boost in the confidence I have in my own abilities.
For anyone reading this that will go on the Year 9 camp or a similar experience I highly encourage you to take full example of the opportunities that you are given.
