Student Voice & Agency

Students who consistently demonstrate our College Values of Excellence, Respect and Responsibility can be recognised by their teachers with Green Chronicles on Compass. At the end of each term, students in Years 7–10 who have earned the most Green Chronicles are invited to take part in a special celebration to recognise their hard work and positive contribution to our school community. Similar celebration events have been held in previous terms and have become a valued way of acknowledging students who consistently uphold our College Values.

As part of planning this term's celebration, students were invited to share their ideas during a lunchtime feedback session. Students received a free hot chocolate on a cold winter’s day in exchange for voting on and suggesting ideas for what the Term 3 Green Chronicle Celebration should be.

The session generated plenty of creative suggestions, giving students a genuine voice in shaping a reward that reflects their interests. Thank you to everyone who participated, we look forward to announcing the winning celebration activity later this term!
