Vinnies Youth Corner

I am always humbled by the generosity of our community. Thank you to all the families who were able to donate to the Toiletry Drive over the past couple of weeks. Thanks to your kindness, we have been able to donate 16 full bags of toiletry items to the Kelmscott Vinnies Conference, who will distribute them to local rough sleepers and families in need.

We also had a wonderful turnout of students last Wednesday for the first Vinnies Community Kitchen of the year. The Community Kitchen sessions run fortnightly during the term. Watch the daily notices for reminders.

Upcoming Vinnies Cook Sessions

All sessions run after school from 3:10 pm to 4:30 pm in D Block.

• Week 5 – Wednesday, 4 March
• Week 7 – Wednesday, 18 March
• Week 9 – Wednesday, 1 April

All students are welcome to attend and help cook for those in our community who are homeless or vulnerable.
