Our brand new Sunshine Coach!

What an amazing day 

Friday, 9 August 2024  

Cecil Hills High School proudly celebrated 

the arrival of our brand new Sunshine Coach! 

In March 2023, we applied for a Grant through Variety NSW/ACT to help us purchase a new bus for the school, in particular a bus for use in our Support Unit.  

A few months later, we received the wonderful news that Variety NSW/ACT, together with Woolworths would kindly provide us with a very generous Grant towards the purchase of a new school bus!  This Grant, together with school funds and lots..... and lots....and lots...... of fundraising at school, enabled us to acquire this fantastic Mitsubishi Rosa 23 seater bus. 

Our students and staff at Cecil Hills High School are so excited!  The new Sunshine Coach means that all of our students will have the opportunity to enrich their educational opportunities by attending excursions, sporting events and access the community safely, comfortably and in style!

After voting for the naming of our new school bus (may I add that many wonderful suggestions were put forward!) we are proud to announce that the students have named the coach:
