Last Monday we welcomed back Alumni, Mitch Perryman, from the class of 2002. Mitch, who owns The North Star Hotel in Ballarat and co-owns Ballarat's Lake View Hotel, chatted to our year 9, 10 and 11 students about careers in hospitality and where they can take you. After explaining how he himself came to be involved in the industry, he went on to give the students some insight into what he looks for in a employee and the importance of good time management.

These sessions open up opportunities for students that may otherwise have passed them by, while expanding their options once they leave school. We would like to thank Mitch for taking the time to share his knowledge and experience with the students and for his willingness to participate on the program.
