Plants For Sale

Following on from last week's tomato growing news, we would like to announce that we now have tomato plants for sale. There are a range of varieties, including cherry, larger fruiting and bush tomatoes, many of which will require staking. Informative fliers with further information about the different varieties will be available from the School Office mid next week.

Orders are to be placed at the School office via phone or in person and can be paid for in cash at the Office and collected on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. The first orders will be available from Thursday the 2nd of November. 

Prices are as follows:

• One plant for $5
• Three plants for $10

This is a new initiative for the school and we plan to develop it well into the future. Students involved in the process will acquire valuable skills, not only around learning how to grow fruits and vegetables but also how to budget for required materials and resources. Marketing and selling the plants and their produce will be highlights of the enterprise.
