Year 11 and 12

Year 11
Term 3 has continued to be a busy and fulfilling time for our VCE and VCE-VM students. Our students have been doing a great job completing their Unit 3 coursework and assessments. VCE-VM students have been exploring connections to their local community across subjects, visiting the community and local businesses multiple times.
We also congratulate several Year 11 students on their brilliant work in the school production, both on and off stage! Looking ahead, we are looking to have a strong finish to Term 3 in preparation for a packed Term 4!
Year 12
We would like to congratulate our Year 12 students on completing Term 3 and celebrate those who have successfully finished their VCE and VCE-VM studies. This milestone reflects the courage, resilience and determination you have shown throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of the way you have supported each other and remained focused during this important stage of your schooling.
This term has been filled with valuable opportunities and experiences for both our VCE and VCE-VM students.
Always a highlight, Warm and Fuzzy Day was a great celebration of kindness, encouragement and connection. All Year 12 students wore their comfy clothes, started the day with a coffee served by staff members, joined in some afternoon activities and finished the day by reading through the many warm and fuzzy notes they had written to each other.
On Thursday 3 September, students took part in a Party Safe presentation by Sonya Karras. It was a great afternoon, and students gained a lot of valuable advice on staying safe while celebrating.
With just two full weeks of classes left until final exams, now is the time to stay sharp, focused and consistent in your preparation. Every lesson, every study session and every effort counts towards your success. The Exam Marathon is a great way to focus and hone in on the areas you need to work on for each and every subject. Use these holidays and final weeks to consolidate your knowledge, be exposed to exam questions and practise full exams under exam conditions.
As we move towards the final weeks, we encourage all students to continue upholding the high standards expected at our college:
- Uniform Policy – Full and correct school uniform must be worn at all times.
- Mobile Phone Policy – Phones must remain switched off and stored in lockers between 9:00 am–3:10 pm.
Punctuality – Arrive on time, ready to learn, and remember to sign in or out at the office if arriving late or leaving early.
When these expectations are not met, detentions will be issued and must be attended promptly.
A reminder that the VTAC application process is now well underway, with deadlines fast approaching. If you have not yet started your application, please make time to explore your options, create your profile and submit your application before the closing date. Staff are available to assist with any questions you may have.
This year has demanded a great deal, and each and every student and their families have responded with courage, kindness and determination. Keep supporting one another, remain connected and remember — you are not on this journey alone. We believe in you, and we are proud to walk alongside you as you take these final steps.
Warm regards
