Who can I contact if I have questions about my child?

We’re here to support your child and answer any questions you may have. 

Can I visit my child’s classroom?

Our classrooms are busy learning spaces. You’re warmly welcome to walk your child to the classroom area each morning, but we ask that you help us keep the focus on learning by saying goodbye at the door. Staff will always be nearby to support a smooth start to the day.

What are incursions and excursions?

Throughout the year, Foundation students will take part in incursions, which are special guests or experiences at school, and excursions, which are local outings linked to learning. These activities help bring the curriculum to life. You will receive details and permission forms ahead of each one.

How can I stay informed about what’s happening at school?

Each week you will receive one school-wide newsletter from St Thomas the Apostle. It includes everything you need to know in one place:

• Updates about Foundation learning and news in the Galilee section
• Whole-school events and reminders
• Messages from the Executive Leadership Team
• Updates from specialist teachers, wellbeing, and community news
• The newsletter is the best way to stay connected to what’s happening in your child’s classroom and across the whole school.
