Young Women in SBATs

In celebration of the 115th International Women's Day 2026, where the theme is 'Give to Gain', we are celebrating the young women across the Bayside Peninsula Area who are working in School-based Apprenticeships or Traineeships (SBATs) in their respective industries.
We currently have 28 young women signed-up and commencing their apprenticeship or traineeship in industries such as: Electrical; Brick and Blocklaying; Light and Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology; Engineering Metal Fabrication; Carpentry; Hairdressing; Early Childhood Education and Care; Racing (Trackwork Rider); Baking; and Cake and Pastry.
