On Friday 15th May, our Year 10 and Year 11 Unit 1 Work Related Skills students successfully completed their Espresso and Food Handling course, delivered by Education Is Key. This fully accredited program provided students with valuable, real-world skills that are highly regarded in the hospitality industry.
Throughout the day, students developed practical barista techniques and food safety knowledge, culminating in the opportunity to prepare and serve coffee to staff. It was fantastic to see their confidence grow as they applied their learning in a real service environment.
This course provides students with a meaningful micro-credential, enhancing their employability and supporting their readiness for the workforce. Congratulations to all students involved for their effort and professionalism.
