Victorian Basketball Championships

The Victorian Secondary Schools Basketball Competition was a very close and competitive event, with our U15 Boys and Girls teams. The standard of basketball was extremely even, with the largest losing margin across the competition being less than 10 points.

Our boys team performed strongly across the tournament, finishing with two wins and one draw. Unfortunately, they narrowly missed out on a place in the final due to percentage. The boys displayed excellent teamwork and composure in several tight contests against quality opposition. Mason S and Jasper L were standout performers throughout the day, consistently leading by example with their effort, skill, and impact on games.

The girl’s competition was similarly close, with our girls side recording one win and one draw in another tightly fought division where no team was able to dominate. The team competed with great determination across all matches, with Eliza H and Jada A among the best performers for the girls, making valuable contributions throughout the tournament.
