Year 7 Camp Kangaroobie

Year Seven Camp was a great experience for all students at Kangaroobie. Students took part in various activities. It was a great opportunity to build friendships and challenge themselves.

• A fantastic Day 1 at Year 7 camp. The weather was perfect for a beach hike and afternoon activities, followed by a sky full of stars for our night walk.
• Day 2 of Year Seven Camp, the students are having a wonderful day! More activities and updates to come!
• Day 3 of Year Seven Camp, the students have had a brilliant time canoeing, completing an obstacle course, survivor challenges and trivia! Looking forward to Day 4!

This is a taste of the mixed media work grade 5/6 have been working on this term. Students used egg cartons, pom poms and feathers to create 3D faces. Using our local magpies for inspiration the students created abstract backgrounds and oil pastels to complete these beautiful artworks.

Today we spent the day at @completehospitalitytraining and learned a few tricks from the amazing Stewart. 

We may not sleep tonight from all the taste-testing!

Our Year 11 Literacy class are ghost-writing stories from the residents at @calvary_health_care in Newport. It was lovely to sit in the sun and have a good chat with Cath and friends.
