Principal's Update

Principal: Milan Matejin

End of Term

As another term draws to a close, I wish to express my sincere appreciation for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. The last month has been a busy time for students to complete exams and tasks followed by teachers completing their semester one reports. We have had a few information nights for years 10 – 12.  We have had numerous parents from our local primary schools visit our two junior campuses. We have also experienced a variety of kinder groups com and spend time at our primary facilities.

Our Year 7 cohort has recently experienced a combined camp with great success, and we have held our Harmony Day celebrations.

This term has been devoted to learning, growth, and memorable experiences for our students. We have recently received our Student Survey results and are eager to understand the data.  Our Naplan data is encouraging, and our literacy and numeracy teams are constructing the information the data has provided for this year's cohorts. We have seen a great improvement in student engagement with our literacy program and our sports teams have shown fantastic sportsmanship.

I encourage you to take this break to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with your children. I also want to thank our dedicated staff for their hard work and commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching learning environment.

Next term we will see the return of Sarah Hardiman and Harry Margaris takes a term break.  We will also see five additional teachers start the term across our three campuses.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Term 3, Monday 21st July, with renewed energy and enthusiasm. In the meantime, have a safe and enjoyable holiday!
