2026 Grade 6 tops
It's hard to believe but it is already time to order Grade 6 tops for 2026. Families will once again have the opportunity to purchase a special Kalinda Grade 6 Polo shirt or Hoodie. Some students may decide to order both. These tops are a wonderful way to 'stand out' as leaders of the school and whilst they are definitely not compulsory, I know the students eagerly await this rite of passage! Students in Grade 5 this year have already selected their favourite design.
Ordering for polo tops and hoodies will be online via Spartan Uniforms. I have attached the ordering information.
Payments and queries will be handled by Spartan.
The ordering link will be live for Kalinda parents from 21st August to 12th September. No late orders can be accepted.
Please note: samples of both items are available in Mrs Hopkins office for any families wanting to check against their child.
Book Week Incursion and Parade
As part of our continued focus on making learning engaging and memorable, we’re excited to bring back our Book Week celebrations this term!
On Wednesday the 27th of August, Students will take part in a Book Week Dress-Up Day, where they’re encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. This fun tradition helps foster a love of reading and builds a joyful school culture around books and storytelling.
The day will begin with a whole-school parade at 9:15am, and families are warmly welcome to attend.
We’re also thrilled to be offering students a Book Week performance incursion, delivered by a professional theatre company. These performances are tailored to the themes of Book Week and are designed to support the English curriculum through engaging, high-quality storytelling.
Thanks to careful planning and school funding, we’re able to offer this incursion at no cost to families, a small way we can help reduce the pressure on household budgets while still enriching your child’s educational experience.
