Seeking Inflatable Stand-Up Paddleboards for PASS (Physical Activity and Sports Studies)
Can you help us get on the water? Seeking Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards
Our upcoming PASS Journey is set to be a fantastic opportunity for our students to get outdoors, challenge themselves and build their skills on the water.
With a large number of students attending this year’s journey, we are looking to borrow some inflatable stand up paddleboards (SUPs) for one day of the camp. While we have a number of hard paddleboards available at school, we simply do not have enough to cater for the number of students attending.
If you have an inflatable SUP that you would be willing to lend to the school for the day, we would love to hear from you. We will take great care of all equipment and arrange for its safe storage and return.
If you can help, please contact Darcy Hall at school on 5480 5900 or email dhall@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au.
Thank you to our wonderful school community for always supporting our outdoor education programs and helping us provide these opportunities for our students!
Volunteer Inductions
At Moama Anglican Grammar, we recognise the valuable part volunteers play in helping our students flourish in our school community. We welcome parents, carers, guardians, or community members to become registered volunteers to enable them to be involved in the variety of student activities we offer at our school.
To become a registered volunteer, you are required to complete both the Volunteer Induction and Agreement. We have recently updated our process, and families can now complete these steps online. To begin, please contact the Primary Office by emailing psreception@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au or calling 03 5480 5950.
Volunteers require a current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC). The WWCC is a requirement for anyone who works or volunteers in child-related work in NSW. It involves a National Police Check (criminal history record check) and a review of reportable workplace misconduct. The Check is FREE for volunteers, and the link below provides further information on how to obtain a WWCC online. A WWCC is valid for 5 years. https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-working-children-check
