2026 Tumbling Schools Champions
Congratulations to our Moama Anglican Grammar Tumbling Team, who were crowned Overall Winners and 2026 Championship School at the Tumbling Schools Championships in Bendigo!
On 16 September, 57 students competed at Palmer’s Gym alongside 138 students from 30 schools across Victoria and NSW. Our students had spent the past two terms developing their competition passes through our Co-curricular lunchtime sessions and Years 4–8 Sports programs at Palmer’s Gym with Coach Mel. Their progress was fantastic to see, particularly for students who began with little or no gymnastics experience.
Throughout the competition, our students demonstrated commitment, encouraged one another and represented Moama Grammar with pride.
Congratulations to all students on an outstanding achievement, and thank you to Coach Mel and the dedicated staff who supported and prepared our students throughout the program.
National All Schools Lawn Bowls Championships
Congratulations to Mackenzie Parsons, who represented NSW at the National All Schools Lawn Bowls Championships in Ocean Grove.
Mackenzie had an outstanding week, competing in both the Triples and Fours events, earning Gold in the Fours and Silver in the Triples. To top off an incredible championship, NSW was crowned the overall champion state for the week.
Adding to her achievements, Mackenzie was selected in the All-Australian Team, an honour awarded to standout competitors from across the National All Schools Championships.
Having qualified through her club, Moama, she will represent Victoria at the National Championships this October.
We are incredibly proud of Mackenzie and all she has achieved. Congratulations on these outstanding accomplishments, and we wish her every success at this month's National Championships.

Zara and Skye Showcase Their Talent at the 2026 Intershools National Championships
Moama Anglican Grammar is proud to celebrate the achievements of Zara O'Donnell and Skye Starritt, who represented Victoria at the 2026 Interschools National Championships held at Werribee during the school holidays.
Competing against the nation's leading school-aged riders, Zara contested the 90cm Intermediate Showjumping Secondary classes, producing a series of impressive performances to finish 7th, 10th, and 17th across her events. Skye competed in the EvA95 Eventing, delivering a strong performance that included clear cross country and showjumping rounds to finish 11th overall.
Their selection to the Victorian team is a significant achievement and reflects the dedication, perseverance and talent that continues to emerge from the growing Moama Anglican Grammar Equestrian Squad. Both riders demonstrated outstanding commitment, resilience and sportsmanship while competing on the national stage.
Throughout the championships, Zara and Skye were supported by Miss Stacey Briggs, who assisted with warm-ups, course walks and competition preparation throughout the event. The school also extends its sincere thanks to the families of both riders, whose ongoing support, encouragement and countless hours of commitment make opportunities such as these possible. The dedication of parents and carers plays a vital role in the success of young equestrians at this level.
Congratulations to Zara and Skye on their outstanding achievements and for representing both their school and state with pride. Their success is a wonderful reflection of the strength of the school's equestrian programme and highlights the exciting depth of talent developing within the equestrian squad.
