House Athletics - Thursday 13th March, 2025

And the winner is HYDRA well done to the hydra house on a very successful school athletics day!!

Senior Tennis

The senior tennis team went out and played in very windy conditions at Craigieburn.

Sadly the boys lost, however the girls team came away with the chocolates and are now playing through at state in May

 

 

Senior Boys Volleyball

Tuesday 18th March the senior boys headed off to Dimond Valley Sports Centre, the boys had a good day out and came away with 1 win. 

Intermediate Girls Tennis Runners Up

Our Intermediate girls tennis headed out to Hume Tennis and Community Centre, to play in the Northern Metro Region Intermediate Girls Tennis on Monday 24th March. The girls came away with the runners up flag. Well done to all involved. 

 

 

 

Year 7 Boys and Girls Tennis

Year 7 Boys and Girls Tennis are winners and are through to NMR on Wednesday 29th October. Our students headed off to McLeod Tennis club to play in the district tennis.  Students played some amazing tennis and showed excellent sportsmanship.  Well done!

 

 

Year 7 Girls Volleyball

Our year 7 girls headed off to Darebin Community Sports Centre on Tuesday 25th March to play in the interschool sports. 

They made it to the grand final by winning every set, but unfortunately lost to Macleod’s A team. The girls did so well and 

 

Year 7 Boys Volleyball

The year 7 boys headed off to Darebin Community Sports Centre on Tuesday 25th March to play in the Volleyball.

The boys won all three games to progress through to the next round. Super effort lads.

 

Year 7 Girls Softball

Our year 7 girls headed off to Mill Park Softball Diamonds to compete in the division Competition. The girls had a ripper day out winning all their games and did unbelievably well!!! Congrats girls!

 

Year 7 Boys Baseball

Year 7 boys headed off to Mill park to compete in the Banyule Secondary Boys/Mixed Division Competition. The boys had a great day out winning all their games. All boys showed great sportsman ship and represented the college in great spirits. Well done to all involved. 

 

 

Northern Metropolitan Region Swimming Champions

On Thursday 27th March, Viewbank attended the Northern Metro Regional Swimming Carnival. It was a fantastic day, with Viewbank claiming the overall winners pennant!

Individual Results:

10x 1st place ribbons

8x 2nd place ribbons

13x 3rd place ribbons

 

Relay Results:

4x 1st place

3x 2nd place

 

At the end of the day we have 18 students that will be moving on, to represent the college at the State Swimming Event early next term (1st of May) at MSAC.

Information regarding State Swimming will be released shortly.

 

A fantastic effort from all students that competed, but special thanks goes out to our Year 10 students Agamya A, Harry B, Adhvik H & Zoey R that work as official timekeepers through the day!
